🎨 We are bursting with pride over the incredible results from this year’s Mineral Area Council on Arts (MACOA) K-12 Art Show!

Out of 21 participating schools and a total of 214 ribbons awarded, Farmington students brought home 58 ribbons! That means our students earned more than a quarter of all awards given in the entire competition.

Huge shoutout to our amazing art teachers! Their dedication helps students turn creativity into critical thinking, proving that art is a powerful bridge to science, engineering, and innovation. We are so grateful for the way they inspire students to experiment, solve problems, and think outside the box every single day! ✨

Summer School REgistration has opened.

Behind every high-achieving student and well-organized classroom is a School District Administrative Assistant who helps make it all happen. Often referred to as the "backbone" of our schools, these professionals manage the logistics that allow our educators to focus on teaching. From coordinating communications to being the first friendly face a parent encounters, they are the glue that holds our community together.

Today, we’re saying THANK YOU to the team that keeps us moving forward! #TheKnightWay

The Farmington Robotics Team has plenty to celebrate at the conclusion of their season! The First Robotics Competition (FRC) Team IgKnight (5060), competed March 27th-28th at the St. Louis Regional, finishing 14th out of 41 teams from six states and two countries (China).

They had a record of 6-7-0 after getting eliminated in the quarterfinals of the playoffs. This marks the second year in a row and second time total the team has made the playoffs.

The biggest milestones have been made off the competition field, though. The team historically averages around 10 students, and this year has grown to over 20. This has lead to being able to specialize student interests as well as expand focus to beyond the competition robot, including securing sponsors to support both the competition robot and team as a whole.

The team secured a total of $9500 in monetary donations funding their competition fee, new uniforms and specific components for the competition team.

A huge thank you to our six sponsors for supporting the Robotics Team and to Mrs. Sarah Springstead and Mr. Brandon Noblin for leading the Robotics Team to success! #TheKnightWay
