Thank you to everyone who joined us at Truman Learning Center for our Early Learning Committee meeting.

A special thank you to Assistant Superintendent Shana Turner for leading this important work to bring our preschools and early childhood groups together.

At Farmington R-7, we believe early learning is essential to ensuring children have a strong foundation for both academic and personal success. By bringing together educators, administrators, parents, and community members, this committee is helping strengthen early childhood programs, align learning experiences, and support the professionals who serve our youngest learners.

This collaborative approach creates a supportive environment where children can grow, thrive, and build the skills they need for future success.

We appreciate the time, insight, and commitment of everyone involved in this important work.

What is Proposition Transfer?
Think of it like a household budget.
It allows existing school tax dollars to be moved from one purpose to another, based on current needs.
The total school tax rate stays the same.

Thank you to our candidates and community members who joined us for the Meet the Candidates Night.

We were encouraged to see such a large turnout from our community. That level of engagement speaks volumes about the value our community places on strong schools and thoughtful leadership.

Opportunities like this matter. Open, respectful public discourse helps keep our schools strong and our community informed. Hearing directly from candidates allows voters to better understand perspectives, experience, and vision for the future of our district.

We appreciate each candidate for their willingness to serve and for sharing their time and thoughts with our community.

A special thank you to Mr. Greg Beavers for serving as moderator and helping guide a thoughtful and respectful evening.

If you were unable to attend, BKTV will have a recording of the event available on their YouTube channel in the coming days.

Strong schools are built on informed and engaged communities, and we are grateful to everyone who took part. #TheKnightWay #BKP

It’s School Board Appreciation Week, and we’re proud to recognize the dedicated individuals who serve our district.

Our Board of Education members were recognized at Tuesday night’s meeting for their leadership, service, and continued commitment to our students, staff, and community. While their work often happens behind the scenes, the impact is seen in every classroom and across our entire district.

School board members serve as volunteers, giving their time to listen, learn, and make thoughtful decisions that help guide the future of our schools.

Please join us in thanking our Board of Education for their service and support of strong schools and a strong community. 💛🖤

Juniors and seniors from BKTV, Knightlife.com, and Sports Broadcasting took their learning beyond the classroom with a visit to the University of Missouri School of Journalism on March 16.

Students participated in hands-on sessions with Mizzou professors who have worked at the highest levels of the industry, including ESPN SportsCenter anchor and Wipeout host John Anderson.

The day also included a special connection with Farmington alum and current J-School student Addison Moore, giving students a firsthand look at the next step in their journey.

Experiences like this help our students see what’s possible and start building their path forward.

The first-ever Farmington District Art Show is next week! 🎨

Join us on Wednesday from 3:30-5:30 and on Thursday from 3:30–7:00 PM for a K–12 exhibit of student artwork from across the district.

The art teachers clearly had a little too much fun taking this photo… but when you spend your days surrounded by creativity, it tends to rub off!

If you are attending High School conferences, take a short walk over to the Field House and stop by the upper mezzanine to see the show.

We are excited to share the incredible talent of our students from across the district.
See you there! 🎨
