This week, our AFJROTC cadets from FHS visited elementary classrooms to share important Halloween safety reminders with our students. Thank you for leading by example and helping our Knights stay safe and smart this Halloween! 🎃#SafeandHealthySchools #Ignite #BKP #TheKnightWay

Breanna once tried Cullen Skink (a creamy Scottish fish soup!) and loved it. That makes sense, considering one of her favorite adventures was a trip to Scotland! She also loves making croquignoles (a sweet French pastry) and spending time with friends and family, or getting lost in a good book.
She believes in cheering on every success, no matter how small: “It’s easy for me to be proud of my students, but when they see their own progress—that’s the best part of my job.”
Whether she’s guiding students in reading or coaching athletes at a game, Breanna is making a lasting impact. Thank you for being part of our team!

Jada Peterson is a Special Education Paraprofessional at Washington-Franklin Elementary, and she brings patience, joy, and creativity to everything she does. Originally from Kansas City, Jada once dreamed of being a professional photographer before finding her true passion in education.
Her first job? Lifeguard at a waterpark at just 16 years old—"It felt wild that I could save a life at that age!" she shared.
Now, she’s thriving in the classroom and working toward her teaching certification, all while raising two beloved pets, Cooper, a yellow lab, and Callie the cat.
Jada’s favorite traditions include baking cookies with her family on Christmas Eve and celebrating the Beanstack Community Day with students each spring. “There’s nothing better than seeing our students succeed and getting to celebrate those moments with them,” she says.
We’re so lucky to have Jada in our district, thank you for everything you do!

Our custodial staff are the unsung heroes of the Farmington School District. From early mornings to late nights, they work tirelessly to keep our classrooms, hallways, gyms, and common spaces clean, safe, and welcoming for students, staff, and families.
Thank you for your dedication, hard work, and care. You make a difference every single day. If you see a custodian today, be sure to give them a big thank you! 👏

Kylie Peery is the Kitchen Manager at Farmington Middle School, and her heart for students shines through every tray she serves. A Bismarck native, Kylie brings warmth, humor, and care to her work and to her coworkers, whom she now calls friends.
Before joining the district, Kylie worked as a commercial painter; however, she has always been creative. Her family has a fun Christmas tradition where they reuse gift boxes and label them with different names each year… then laugh as they read off the history of who had it before!
At home, Kylie enjoys four-wheeling, camping, and spending time with her family, including three dogs and a cat.
What keeps her going? “We work in this system for the kids. Every position—from the cafeteria to the superintendent—holds a special role in each student’s life. I want to be a safe person they can count on.”
Thank you, Kylie, for feeding bodies and building hearts at FMS!
