During Parent-Teacher Conferences at Lincoln Intermediate, parents had a unique opportunity to explore the Hidden in Plain View trailer, brought to us by the Rotary Club of St. Francois County. This interactive experience provided a realistic look at a teenager's bedroom, highlighting positive influences like family, music, and sports while also raising awareness about potential risk factors such as vapes, alcohol, and marijuana. We are grateful to the Rotary Club for offering this valuable resource free of charge and helping our families stay informed and proactive. #StrongSchools #StrongCommunity #ParentInvolvement #SafeandHealthySchools #CommunityConnectedness

🌱🌼 Thank You, Twenty-Five Gardeners! 🌼🌱 We are incredibly grateful to the Twenty-Five Gardeners garden club for awarding Amanda Kuhlman from Dayse Baker Learning Center a $500 grant! This generous support will help Amanda continue the important work in the school’s Community Garden, expanding opportunities for students to learn, grow, and thrive through hands-on gardening experiences. 🌿👩‍🌾 This summer, Mrs. Kuhlman’s students have embraced the benefits of gardening, from learning about healthy eating and environmental stewardship to discovering how growing their food can improve their [physical and mental health. Thanks to the Twenty-Five Gardeners' donation, they will soon see even more growth—both in the garden and their personal development. Here's to nurturing future gardeners and lifelong skills! 🌻💚 #CommunityGarden #GrowingTogether #DayseBakerLearningCenter #ThankYou #StrongSchools #StrongCommunity

A huge THANK YOU to the Lowe's Heroes and their amazing team for helping Roosevelt Elementary bring a vision to life! Thanks to the Lowe's Hero Project grant, we are transforming our library makerspace into an outdoor classroom with native beds and sensory gardens. This new space will provide endless hands-on learning opportunities for our students to explore nature and connect with their curriculum in meaningful ways. 🌱🌻 A special shoutout to Mrs. Counts, a 2nd-grade teacher at Roosevelt, for her dedication to securing this grant and leading the charge for our students. We can't wait to see how this project grows and impacts our school community! #StrongSchools #StrongCommunity #OutdoorLearning #HandsOnEducation
