Washington-Franklin took the trophy for Beanstack for the month of December for Outstanding Reading Momentum. December is a busy month, and many other schools saw a drop in reading engagement; however, Washington-Franklin has consistently shown a dedication to reading! Today, on National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, Farmington R-7 would like to thank the dedicated local law enforcement professionals who serve and protect our schools and community each day.

We are especially grateful for our School Resource Officers, Sgt. Sam Weekly and Officer Wendy Helton, whose presence helps keep our students safe, supported, and connected. Their work goes far beyond safety. They build relationships, mentor students, and are trusted members of our school family. We are also thankful for Frida, our therapy support dog, whose calm presence brings comfort and smiles to students and staff alike.

Thank you for all you do.
