🥚 People & Programs: Exploring Osmosis in 8th Grade Science 💧 Students in Ms. Katy Halley and Ms. Hannah Geile’s 8th grade science classes at FMS took a hands-on approach to understanding osmosis with an engaging lab experiment! 🔬 Using an egg as a model for a cell membrane, students: ✅ Placed eggs in different liquids overnight to observe water movement ✅ Measured changes in mass to analyze how osmosis affects cells ✅ Used their observations to explain how cell membranes regulate water flow This experiment brought textbook concepts to life, helping students visualize how cellular processes impact living organisms! 📌 #StrongSchools #StrongCommunity #FarmingtonStrong

The CTA Cares Backpack Program, organized and led by dedicated teachers and students in our district, helps address food insecurity by providing weekly food bags to 247 students. This past winter alone, 72 outside groups used our facilities every week.
