We have five more groups to thank for ringing the bell for United Way of St. Francois County before Christmas! Thank you to the Lincoln Intermediate Counseling Team, NHS, Varsity Girls Basketball, the Klindhardt and Weiss families, and the Roosevelt Third Grade Team. We appreciate you!

As our students and staff enjoy a well-earned winter break, Farmington R-7 social media accounts will be taking a short pause, too.
We’ll be back after the break with more stories, celebrations, and updates from around the district. Until then, we wish our Knights and their families a safe, restful, and joyful winter break.

Your dedication to our students goes far beyond the classroom, and your support of the St. Francois County United Way is another great example of service in action. We’re grateful for all you do each day and for representing Roosevelt so well.'

Representatives from DESE joined us at the December Board of Education meeting to formally recognize these schools with the Gysbers Missouri Comprehensive School Counseling Program Award, honoring their commitment to high-quality, student-centered counseling programs. Congratulations to the counselors and staff whose dedication helps support the success and well-being of our students every day.

From dissecting sheep hearts in BioMed and making wreaths in Floral Design, to hearing from ROTC, Ag, Banking, BKTV, Special Olympics, and Wise Knights Café students, every stop highlighted hands-on, real-world learning. Participants even helped record announcements in the BKTV studio. The day wrapped up with Incubator students pitching business ideas and learning how Transition students gain real-world work experience.
When students lead, their learning speaks for itself. 💛🖤
