Today, on National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, Farmington R-7 would like to thank the dedicated local law enforcement professionals who serve and protect our schools and community each day.

We are especially grateful for our School Resource Officers, Sgt. Sam Weekly and Officer Wendy Helton, whose presence helps keep our students safe, supported, and connected. Their work goes far beyond safety. They build relationships, mentor students, and are trusted members of our school family. We are also thankful for Frida, our therapy support dog, whose calm presence brings comfort and smiles to students and staff alike.

Thank you for all you do.

As a new semester begins, we would like to remind families of the many resources available on our website. One such resource located on the "Family Resource" page is the Emergency Management Guide for Families. This guide provides information on how the FSD operates during the "Response" phase of Emergency Management situations, such as natural disasters. We suggest all families become familiar with this resource. Use this link to learn more: https://sites.google.com/farmington.k12.mo.us/farmingtonschoolssafetyandprep/home
