Washington-Franklin took the trophy for Beanstack for the month of December for Outstanding Reading Momentum. December is a busy month, and many other schools saw a drop in reading engagement; however, Washington-Franklin has consistently shown a dedication to reading! Great job! #AcademicExcellence #Ignite #TheKnightWay

Today, on National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, Farmington R-7 would like to thank the dedicated local law enforcement professionals who serve and protect our schools and community each day.
We are especially grateful for our School Resource Officers, Sgt. Sam Weekly and Officer Wendy Helton, whose presence helps keep our students safe, supported, and connected. Their work goes far beyond safety. They build relationships, mentor students, and are trusted members of our school family. We are also thankful for Frida, our therapy support dog, whose calm presence brings comfort and smiles to students and staff alike.
Thank you for all you do.

As a new semester begins, we would like to remind families of the many resources available on our website. One such resource located on the "Family Resource" page is the Emergency Management Guide for Families. This guide provides information on how the FSD operates during the "Response" phase of Emergency Management situations, such as natural disasters. We suggest all families become familiar with this resource. Use this link to learn more: https://sites.google.com/farmington.k12.mo.us/farmingtonschoolssafetyandprep/home

Because of the MANY donations in December, the CTA Cares Backpack Program provided food to over 200 Farmington R-7 students during the holidays. Thank you to the donors, food drive organizers, and those who purchased raffle tickets for our Yeti bag and Farmington blanket drawing.
We could not do this work without the donations from our fantastic community! If you would like to give a monetary gift or participate in a food drive, we would love your support! Please get in touch with Mrs. Sheri Whitener, CTA President, to learn more! swhitener@farmington.k12.mo.us or donate to our Cash App at $FarmingtonCTA #TheKnightWay #CommunityConnectedness #CTACares
