We are pleased to announce an important leadership transition that positions Lincoln for a strong and focused future. We are excited to share that Lincoln's current Assistant Principal, Mrs. Amy Conway, will step into the role of Head Principal, ensuring continuity and a deep understanding of the building's culture.

Joining the Lincoln administrative team as the new Assistant Principal is Mrs. Ashley Hoehn, who is currently the Dean of Students at Jefferson Elementary. Ashley will bring a strong emphasis on student behavior support, a unique perspective regarding special services, and knowledge of effective systems to Lincoln.

Please help us congratulate them on their new roles for the 20226-2027 school year. #TheKnightWay

Mrs. Amy Conway, Principal – Lincoln Intermediate School Mrs. Amy Conway brings over 15 years of classroom experience and a strong commitment to student-centered leadership as she steps into the principal role at Lincoln Intermediate. After teaching high school business education in the Dunklin and Hillsboro districts, she joined Farmington R-7 in 2025 as Lincoln’s assistant principal. In her first year at Lincoln, Amy focused on learning the building, building trust, and supporting both students and staff. Her leadership is grounded in two guiding questions: Is this best for students? And how can we support teachers through change? Her vision moving forward centers on consistency; consistent leadership, expectations, and support. Key goals include strengthening teacher leadership, aligning student behavior systems, and supporting instruction through collaboration and practical use of data. Amy describes Lincoln as a place where people show up for each other every day, creating a true sense of family. She is honored to lead a school community she deeply believes in and is excited to continue building a culture of belonging, growth, and shared success.
Mrs. Ashley Hoehn brings a wide range of experience in special education, student services, and building-level leadership to her new role as assistant principal at Lincoln Intermediate. Her career began as a Special Education paraprofessional while completing her degrees in Elementary and Special Education. She later taught in both traditional and nontraditional settings, supporting students with complex needs and developing a strong foundation in individualized instruction and inclusive practices. Ashley joined the Farmington R-7 School District as a Special Education teacher at the high school before serving as the district’s 504 facilitator and, most recently, as Dean of Students. These experiences strengthened her understanding of schoolwide systems, behavior support, restorative practices, and team collaboration. In her new role, Ashley looks forward to building strong relationships, honoring existing structures, and supporting a smooth transition for staff, students, and families. She values consistency, proactive communication, and shared leadership, and is committed to helping students feel confident, families feel connected, and staff feel supported. Ashley and her husband Josh, a Farmington graduate and current Director of Operations, live in Farmington with their young daughter. They are proud to serve the district and remain actively involved in the local community.

Like any organization, schools occasionally have leadership changes.

Today, we say thank you and congratulations to Farmington R-7 SRO Sergeant. Sam Weekley, as he retires from the Farmington Police Department and his role as a School Resource Officer.

Sergeant Weekley has dedicated more than 32 years to law enforcement, including 27 years serving as an SRO, where he built relationships, earned trust, and made our schools safer and stronger. He began his work with the D.A.R.E. program because he wanted to help students early, and that purpose guided his entire career.

A Farmington graduate, Sergeant. Weekley has always believed in giving back to the community that helped shape him. He has been a steady presence and a familiar face for generations of students.

Thank you, Sergeant Weekley, for your service, your heart for kids, and your lasting impact on Farmington R-7. We wish you all the best in your well-earned retirement. 💙🚔

Farmington R-7 Schools are closed on Monday, January 26, 2026, due to winter weather. Snow Day #2

Today’s snow day message features student artwork from our Farmington R-7 Snow Day Design Challenge, launched last fall for students in grades 5–12.

Submissions were hand-drawn or painted and included Farmington-related elements, winter themes, and open space for the district’s closure message. The artwork was scored using a rubric that considered creativity, visual impact, clarity, and how well each design could be utilized across district communication platforms. Top-scoring designs were selected to be featured on snow day announcements.

Along with a featured challenge design, we are also sharing artwork from additional Farmington students to celebrate the talent across our district.

Thank you to our students for their creativity!
