🥚 People & Programs: Exploring Osmosis in 8th Grade Science 💧 Students in Ms. Katy Halley and Ms. Hannah Geile’s 8th grade science classes at FMS took a hands-on approach to understanding osmosis with an engaging lab experiment! 🔬 Using an egg as a model for a cell membrane, students: ✅ Placed eggs in different liquids overnight to observe water movement ✅ Measured changes in mass to analyze how osmosis affects cells ✅ Used their observations to explain how cell membranes regulate water flow This experiment brought textbook concepts to life, helping students visualize how cellular processes impact living organisms! 📌 #StrongSchools #StrongCommunity #FarmingtonStrong

Congratulations Colby Armes for winning first place in our Conference Spelling Bee! We wish him good luck at Regionals! (Colby pictured left in this picture from our school bee.)
