Farmington Middle School is currently accepting new/gently used book donations for our "Totally Free Book Fair," which we will be having at our end-of-year Extravaganza in May. Now's the time to begin Spring cleaning and clear out your shelves, replacing books you've finished reading and would like to pass along.

This book fair will be free for students to get new-to-you books, unlike a book fair where families need to purchase books. We are accepting only appropriate materials for grades K-8.

High school - adult chapter books are not needed at this time, however we will accept cookbooks. You may drop off donations at the middle school. Donations must be in good to like-new condition.

Thank you! Any questions may be directed to the middle school librarian, Kate Dillon. kdillon@farmington.k12.mo.us

Join us in celebrating National School Counseling Week this February! School counselors are invaluable members of our educational community, providing essential support to students' academic, social, and emotional well-being. They're the listeners, the advocates, and the guides who help our kids navigate the challenges of school and life. Thanks to the warm January weather for the past two Tuesdays, garden club has gotten to go outside and do some native pollinator garden planting with some milkweed seeds to winter in the ground and even do some plant pruning from our greenhouse plants. We have learned that Aloe grows like crazy in our greenhouse environment. See pictures of our adventures here!

❄️ Winter Break Pause ❄️

As our students and staff enjoy a well-earned winter break, Farmington R-7 social media accounts will be taking a short pause, too.

We’ll be back after the break with more stories, celebrations, and updates from around the district. Until then, we wish our Knights and their families a safe, restful, and joyful winter break.
