Who’s That? Meet Jennifer Mattina! Jennifer Mattina is a Kindergarten teacher at TLC who brings passion, joy, and plenty of stories to the classroom. Originally from Springfield, she now calls Farmington home—and she’s been shaping young minds in the district for years. 🍎 Before teaching, Jennifer worked at an ophthalmologist’s office, helping patients examine their eyes and choose glasses. She’s more into coins than contacts these days—she collects rare quarters and raises chickens who love mealworms and watermelon! 🐓 Jennifer loves time with her family, especially visiting grandparents during the holidays or relaxing in a treehouse on an anniversary getaway. She’s also the proud owner of Sadie, a blue heeler who’s the “best dog ever.” 🐶 One of her favorite parts of teaching is seeing former students, sometimes a decade or more later, stop by and say, “Do you remember me?” That full-circle moment never gets old. Thank you, Jennifer, for your dedication and the heart you bring to our students! #StrongSchools #StrongCommunity

🖤💛 This morning, our Health and Wellness Team gathered bright and early to continue shaping a strong foundation for student and staff well-being at Farmington R-7. We focused on three key areas driving our work: ✔️ Mental Health & Healthy Behavior ✔️ Substance Abuse Prevention ✔️ Sense of Belonging Using the WSCC model (Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child), we explored how our 2024–2027 Wellness Strategic Plan supports a healthier, more connected learning environment. Thoughtful conversations sparked new ideas and highlighted where we can grow next. Every student deserves to feel safe, supported, and seen. And we’re committed to making that happen—together. 💪 #StrongSchools #StrongCommunity #WSCC

Who’s That? Meet Robin Wade! Robin Wade is the Administrative Assistant to the Principal at Farmington High School—and if you've ever been to a home soccer game, you've probably heard her voice on the PA! 🎙️ Robin is a proud Farmington native who loves reading, baking, and cheering on her kids in sports. She once grilled an entire night’s worth of steaks at Ponderosa (including the ribeyes and porterhouses!) and says trying octopus soup was one of her strangest food adventures. 🐙 She treasures time spent with her family at concerts, carving pumpkins during Halloween, or relaxing at the beach. At work, Robin finds joy in serving others and making a positive impact—especially when she sees students who have overcome challenges walk across that graduation stage. 💛🖤 Thank you, Robin, for the heart you bring to our high school daily! #StrongSchools #StrongCommunity #FarmingtonStrong
