They’ve been together for 26 years, married for 17, and now have three children who are also Knights! 🖤💛 Farmington Sweethearts: David & Sarah Buerck ('93 & '94) 💛🖤 David and Sarah first met in middle school, but their friendship grew stronger in the high school band, where they both played in the drumline under Mr. Kurt Bauche’s direction. David helped Sarah through Physics class, and their first date included dinner at Tonanzio’s and watching The Last of the Mohicans on a double date with another Farmington sweetheart couple! 💕 They later attended Mizzou, then returned home to build their careers—David as a physical therapist and Sarah as a Farmington art teacher. 📢 Proposition S – Operating Levy Information 📢 Farmington R-7 School District proposes an operating levy increase. Here are some key facts: ✅ FSD currently operates at the state minimum levy of $2.75. ✅ The district has one of the lowest operating levies compared to similar-sized schools in Missouri. ✅ Increasing difficulty with staff retention due to lower pay schedules and a competitive job market. ✅ The district aims to increase teaching salaries while maintaining a low total levy when combining operating and debt service levies.
