Thank you Mrs. Walden and Ms. Bays!
Join us in celebrating National School Counseling Week this February! School counselors are invaluable members of our educational community, providing essential support to students' academic, social, and emotional well-being. They're the listeners, the advocates, and the guides who help our kids navigate the challenges of school and life. Let's take a moment to recognize and appreciate the dedication and hard work of our school counselors. Thank you for all you do!

School resumes tomorrow, Tuesday, January 6, 2026. We are excited to welcome students back! Please remind students in grades 5-12 to charge their Chromebooks. #TheKnightWay #Ignite

As our students and staff enjoy a well-earned winter break, Farmington R-7 social media accounts will be taking a short pause, too.
We’ll be back after the break with more stories, celebrations, and updates from around the district. Until then, we wish our Knights and their families a safe, restful, and joyful winter break.

Reminder that we have several Fine Arts productions this coming week! On Tuesday, 12/16 we have a Choral Concert at Truman Auditorium at 7:00 PM, and on Thursday, 12/18 we have an MS Drama Production of A Christmas Carol, Radio Play at Truman Auditorium at 6:00 PM. Tickets $2.00 to go see the play.

Hello Frida the Therapy Dog here and I would just like to share with your our positive behavior for the month in the video. Great job doing good things at school and being recognized by your teachers! Video here ---> https://www.canva.com/design/DAG7UvXLmmo/YJwAn_7Q24Lhdvmov8c10Q/watch
Also here are two pictures of my friends reading logs - Miss Rachael who has read and logged for 68 days straight and Miss Lina who has read and logged for 47 days straight! Bow-wowza these girls are reading so much! Good job Rachael and Lina! Many students are also doing lots of reading that I didn't mention but these two are my friends and I like seeing what my friends are reading. Love, Frida

Thank you to our coaches, directors, transportation team, administrators, maintenance/custodial crew, and event staff for working quickly today to adjust schedules and communicate updates. We know days like this take teamwork, flexibility, and a lot of behind-the-scenes coordination.
Several events remain on as scheduled, while others have been postponed or canceled. Please check the updated graphic for the latest information.
We appreciate everyone’s patience and support as we work to keep our students safe and activities running smoothly. Go Knights! 🖤💛 #BKP

Today’s announcement features the first student-created Snow Day design from our Grades 5–12 Snow Day Design Challenge! We’ll be sharing the top student submissions each time school is canceled this winter, and we can’t wait for you to see the creativity our Knights have put into their artwork.
To make the morning a little brighter, we’re also sharing a few snapshots of student art projects from around the district. Our classrooms have been busy this semester, and this is a great chance to celebrate the talent of our students while you enjoy an unexpected day off.
Stay cozy, Knights, and we’ll see you soon!
