🎨 Dual Credit & College Prep: Art History in Action 🎨
At Farmington High School, students can earn college credit through various dual credit courses, including Art History, taught by Mr. Michael Lamb.
Each year, students in this course visit the St. Louis Art Museum, where they experience world-renowned masterpieces firsthand. This year’s visit included a stop at the Apotheosis of St. Louis, a historic statue presented to the city in 1906.
Field experiences like this help students connect classroom learning with real-world applications, deepening their understanding of art, culture, and history.
📚 Dual credit courses allow students to explore subjects at a deeper level while getting a head start on college coursework.

🛡️ Safety is Key
In this video, Dr. Kyle Gibbs discusses why adding storm shelters is a priority for the bond issue. With only three campuses currently equipped with shelters (Washington-Franklin students go to Truman), these additions will protect students and staff during severe weather.
