Mrs. Whited’s PreK class had a fun-filled week celebrating St. Patrick’s Day themed stations last week! ☘️ Students enjoyed engaging stations, including imaginative dramatic play, sensory fun with gold coins and pots, and hands-on colorful science activities. It was a week full of creativity, learning, and a little bit of magic! 🌈✨#theknightway

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Truman Learning Center for our Early Learning Committee meeting.
A special thank you to Assistant Superintendent Shana Turner for leading this important work to bring our preschools and early childhood groups together.
At Farmington R-7, we believe early learning is essential to ensuring children have a strong foundation for both academic and personal success. By bringing together educators, administrators, parents, and community members, this committee is helping strengthen early childhood programs, align learning experiences, and support the professionals who serve our youngest learners.
This collaborative approach creates a supportive environment where children can grow, thrive, and build the skills they need for future success.
We appreciate the time, insight, and commitment of everyone involved in this important work.

We’re excited for another fun Attendance Challenge this week! The class with the highest attendance in each group (Kindergarten A, B, C and Pre-K AM & PM) will win a 🎲 Board Game Bonanza on Friday!
Let’s work together to be here, on time, and ready to learn each day. Every student counts, and every day matters!
What better way to head into Spring Break than celebrating with games, laughter, and time with friends? 🌷☀️

Beanstack Update:
WHAT AMAZING READERS WE HAVE AT TRUMAN!
As a school, we have logged almost 70,000 minutes since January! We are on track to reaching our school goal of 120,000 and having a fun end of year celebration! Great job TLC!
Each month we have a new reading challenge. We already have 11 students that have completed over 300 minutes logged in Beanstack! They have earned extra library station time and a visit to the treasure box. Great job!!
We also have 23 students who are more than half way to their goal!!
With almost two more weeks of reading this month, I expect they will complete the March challenge soon as well. Think of all the books you can read during spring break!
What amazing readers we have. I’m so proud of the scholars here at TLC. HAPPY READING!!
