Christmas fun is in full swing in Mrs. Hayes’ class! Students visited the 🌲 tree farm, practiced sharing with the 🚂 trains, stacked 🍬 gumdrops, trimmed Santa’s beard 🎅, and explored the 🍪 gingerbread sensory bin. They’re becoming so independent at stations and staying engaged! ⭐ #theknightway #bettertogether
Our Truman Learning Center “Little Squires” teachers, Mrs. Bono and Ms. Rehkop, brought big holiday cheer while ringing the bell for the United Way of St. Francois County.
They spend their days caring for our youngest learners and still find time to serve the community, which is exactly what makes them so special.

Thank you, Truman families, for making our Beard the Teacher fundraiser such an INCREDIBLE success! In just ONE week, our students raised an amazing $1,445 for Seasons of Hope! ❤️
A huge congratulations to Mrs. Finch’s class, our 2025 Beard the Teacher Champions! 🏆 Their class grew Mrs. Finch's Beard with the most stickers and will enjoy a well-deserved Hot Chocolate & Candy Cane Party!
We are so proud of our students for showing such big hearts and community spirit. Thank you to everyone who donated, participated, and helped us give back this holiday season! ❄️✨

Today’s announcement features the first student-created Snow Day design from our Grades 5–12 Snow Day Design Challenge! We’ll be sharing the top student submissions each time school is canceled this winter, and we can’t wait for you to see the creativity our Knights have put into their artwork.
To make the morning a little brighter, we’re also sharing a few snapshots of student art projects from around the district. Our classrooms have been busy this semester, and this is a great chance to celebrate the talent of our students while you enjoy an unexpected day off.
