It was another Fun Foodie Friday in Miss Morris and Miss Burr's room today! The classes read the book "Apple Trouble" then created their own hedgehog using wheat bread, cream cheese, Honey Nut Cheerios, blueberries and candy eyes.

Friday, Miss Morris and Miss Burr's classes enjoyed their first Fun Foodie Friday.
They read the book "The Dot" by Peter H. Reynolds to celebrate Dot Day. After the story, they made their own edible dot using a sugar cookie, icing and M&Ms.

🍋This week Miss Burr, Mrs. Cheek and Mrs. Elder's classes read “When Grandma Gives You a Lemon Tree” and talked about characters in fiction books as well as verbs.
🍋Yesterday, they read a nonfiction text about lemons, made lemonade and created a lemonade craft! They talked about verbs as they scooped, poured, stirred, and drank their yummy lemonade! Students worked on writing as well during our craft. Such a fun day!
