📖 People & Programs: Morning Journals & Social-Emotional Learning ❤️
Each morning in Ms. Abbi Snyder’s 2nd-grade class at Roosevelt Elementary, students start their day with a Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) activity, helping them build essential skills in self-awareness, empathy, and emotional regulation.
🌟 Recently, students completed their morning journals! These journals provide a space for students to:
✅ Reflect on their feelings and experiences
✅ Practice gratitude and positive thinking
✅ Develop communication and problem-solving skills
Daily SEL activities help students start the day with a positive mindset, setting them up for success in learning and relationships!

Students should have came home with a paper about our storybook tissue box parade. This is an optional fun project that students can do as we end Read Across America Week. Students can bring in their completed storybook tissue box to Mrs. Baker by March, 14th.
