The Farmington R-7 School District will be in session on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. However, several bus routes remain affected by the recent winter storm. Please review the attached document for our modified bus routes, which will be effective until road conditions improve. Please refer to the document daily. We will adjust the pm schedule tomorrow afternoon based on road conditions. We'd like to ask for your patience as our drivers navigate these adjusted routes. If you have any transportation questions, please call our office at (573) 701-1300 ext. 2014
We also want to remind families of the importance of students dressing appropriately for the weather. Additionally, students in grades 5-12 should ensure their Chromebooks are fully charged and brought to school tomorrow.
Thank you for your continued understanding and patience as we address these weather-related challenges. Let's have a great semester!

Due to continued poor road conditions, the Farmington R-7 School District will remain closed on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. Despite the hard work of our crews and city crews, the lingering ice and low temperatures continue to make many outer roads and side streets unsafe for travel. If conditions improve and we can return to school on Wednesday, we may need to adjust some bus routes and utilize alternative pick-up spots. Details about these changes will be communicated tomorrow to help families prepare. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we prioritize the safety of our students and staff. Stay safe, Knights!

Although our crews have been hard at work clearing parking lots today, the Farmington R-7 School District will unfortunately remain closed tomorrow, Monday, January 13, 2025. While progress has been made, many roads are still not in the best condition, and tonight's low temperatures are expected to cause a refreeze, creating additional safety concerns. We understand the challenges of students being out of school and want to assure our families that we are making every effort to return to a regular schedule. However, the safety of our students and staff remains our highest priority. Thank you for your understanding and continued support. Stay safe and warm, Knights!
