Character Council hit the streets today delivering letters to our wonderful local businesses, inviting them to Washington Franklin Elementary’s production of “Christmas at the Ok Corral” for Seasons of Hope. It feels good to bring back a long-held tradition and share a little holiday cheer in a fresh new way. 🎄🤠

Our Beanstack Reader shirts just came in, and these three have been waiting! These students have all read and logged over 3,000 minutes on Beanstack this year! Way to go 📚🥳 #Ignite #TheKnightWay #AcademicExcellence

We love getting to shoutout students and classes at assemblies! 📢✨ We were able to recognize our SHARE note earners, Brag Board students, Highest class attendance for the month of November AND even drew two random student winners with excellent attendance for prizes at the assembly last week.

Third grade got us in the jolly jolly spirt last night with their Karaoke Christmas concert! 🎄🎶 #Ignite #TheKnightWay #CommunityConnectedness

Today’s announcement features the first student-created Snow Day design from our Grades 5–12 Snow Day Design Challenge! We’ll be sharing the top student submissions each time school is canceled this winter, and we can’t wait for you to see the creativity our Knights have put into their artwork.

To make the morning a little brighter, we’re also sharing a few snapshots of student art projects from around the district. Our classrooms have been busy this semester, and this is a great chance to celebrate the talent of our students while you enjoy an unexpected day off.
