Lisa shared the inspiration behind her book, Hobo’s Travels, and spoke about how her early love of reading and writing sparked her journey to becoming a writer. She reminded our students that anyone with a story to tell can become an author!

Whether it’s helping a classmate get organized, assisting with a lesson, or simply checking in to see how someone is doing, she is always looking for ways to lift others up. Her positive attitude is contagious, and as her teacher says, "She is a true joy to have in the room!"
Thorin is the definition of a "silent leader." He is a model student who works hard every single day, consistently staying on task and completing his work with excellence. Beyond his academics, Thorin sets the standard for being respectful and responsible. He does the right thing because it’s the right thing to do—never seeking the spotlight, but always leading by example.
