Congratulations to Coach Brett Joseph for being named Jefferson Elementary's 2026 Teacher of the Year! Coach Joseph dedicates countless hours to help kids strengthen their bodies, improve teamwork skills, and build positive relationships both in and out of school hours. National Park Rangers from Ste. Genevieve came to visit our Jefferson Third Graders. Students experienced inquiry-based learning to investigate life in Missouri's earliest settlements. Students will be able to extend their learning in an upcoming field trip to historic locations in Ste. Genevieve.

Mrs. G's class had an engaging and productive week exploring the 13 colonies through narrative writing from a colonist's perspective, a scavenger hunt, and their favorite part, learning about the lost colony of Roanoke. Oh and we canāt forget, you āmustacheā questions when you investigate.
