Jefferson explored the stars today at Field Day with the Challenger Center Planetarium! We traveled through time and space to learn about cardinal directions, constellations, and the rotation of the earth. 🌌 🌖 ☀️ #TheKnightWay

These amazing Jefferson Musicians completed Recorder levels all the way to Black Belt! Did you know music education significantly boosts academic performance by strengthening cognitive functions like working memory, executive control, and abstract reasoning? Jefferson Student Ambassadors celebrated the end of a wonderful year of service with a picnic and Kids vs. Parents games. These students have taken an active leadership role in the school and community in the following ways: monitoring hallways, collecting mail, creating video announcements, serving Veterans breakfast, ringing the bell for United Way, caroling downtown, working the school store, creating gifts for Teacher Appreciation Week, and being model ambassadors to all students. Jefferson is proud of them and their strong character. 💛🖤 #TheKnightWay

Today, our fifth grade classrooms turned into the Happiest Place on Earth as we took a virtual trip to Disney Parks! 🎡🏰 From thrilling virtual rides and fun games to creative crafts and a Bibbidi-Bobbidi-boo-tiful amount of snacks, our students made memories that will last a lifetime. Jefferson Elementary Readers exceeded their Beanstack Community Goal and celebrated with a Popsicle Picnic! Popsicles and games in the library made for a fun afternoon! Their goal was 300,000 minutes and so far they have logged 327,552 minutes! Keep reading all summer!! #TheKnightWay
