The District baseball games scheduled for today, May 17, 2024, at Festus, have been canceled. Farmington will play Hillsboro at 2 p.m. tomorrow, following the Festus vs. DeSoto game, which begins at Noon on Saturday at Festus.

FHS JAG students participated in a career field trip to MLC (formally known as Mississippi Lime Company) to explore opportunities for after high school.
The students toured the underground mines and learned about all the careers and benefits offered by MLC.
This is a beginning partnership between JAG and MLC.
Among the benefits that the students learned about was tuition reimbursement, technical and trade training, apprenticeships, and career opportunities ranging from mechanical engineering to human resources.

Should the need arise, the Truman Learning Center and Jefferson Elementary storm shelters will open to the public at 3:30 p.m. and remain open until the threat of severe weather subsides. #OneCommunity

The Farmington Educational Foundation had the privilege of presenting scholarships to 36 outstanding seniors totaling $37,000. Of these scholarships, 17 ($17,500) are memorial scholarships administered by the foundation, 18 ($19,000) are funded by the foundation, and 1 ($500) is given by the teachers of Farmington R7 School District. Go Knights!!!
