The Super Knights in action! Our Super Knights have been hard at work building life skills—cleaning, pulling weeds, planting in the garden beds, and even cooking up delicious meals. Proud of their dedication and hands-on learning! #SuperKnights #StrongSchools #StrongCommunity

Student Voice at Work: Farmington’s Future
On June 10th, a group of Farmington students joined city leaders and community members at the Farmington Public Library to participate in the first Comprehensive Plan Open House, hosted by PGAV.
Students explored big topics like housing, traffic, recreation, and the future of Downtown—and they didn’t hold back! From the need for more indoor recreation options to creative ideas like a Youth Civic Leadership Council and downtown redevelopment, our students have shown that they’re already thinking like community leaders. In addition to completing the City’s official community survey, they also answered a few reflection questions from the school district to help them think critically and engage in conversation during the event.
🔍 Here’s what stood out to them:
➡️ “A lot of people want single-family homes instead of apartments—and I didn’t realize how many felt the same.”
➡️ “I was surprised to learn how many people work outside of Farmington but want to work here.”
➡️ “We should focus on bringing more entertainment and retail to town. It helps both residents and tourism.”
➡️ “I thought only a council did the planning—I didn’t realize events like this let everyday people help shape our city.”
Thank you to the City of Farmington for welcoming our students into this process. The future is brighter when we build it together. 💡

Our Health classes had the opportunity to hear from Mrs. Armstrong, Mrs. Scott, Mrs. Zipprich, Mrs. Waller and Mrs. Greif regarding digital citizenship. In this lesson, students were able to explore their own values and consider how today's technologies make it easier or harder to live out different values.

Meet Madelynn W!
Mady is completing her Latin Honors student internship this summer with our Director of Communications. She’s getting a behind-the-scenes look at the many ways we communicate and is helping share our summer school stories with the community. Over the next few weeks, she will be contributing to our social media and website as a moderated user. We can’t wait to see the great work she’ll help us share with the community. Welcome Madelyn! #StrongSchools #StrongCommunity #StudentVoice
