Happy Birthday Mr. Loughary!!

It is that time of year again to have the HOSA students sponsor the blood drive with the American Red Cross, Thursday Nov. 6, 7:30a-1p
There is a critical blood shortage and this is open to the community for adult blood donors too. They can schedule an appointment.
November is Diabetes Awareness Month: Free A1C Testing in November for Donors.
Top Three Things to Know and Do
1. Make your appointment, as soon as possible, to secure your time slot. Use in the Blood Donor App or at RedCrossBlood.org to schedule and complete your RapidPass® pre-donation questionnaire.
2. Keep your appointment. The A1C test does not require fasting ahead of time as it is not affected by recent food or drink intake or activity level.
3. Find your results. Test results will be available in the Blood Donor App, or in your donor account on RedCrossBlood.org, about 1-2 weeks after your donation. Like other blood donation screenings, A1C testing is part of the blood donation testing process which occurs at no charge to you.
The following general guidelines if students are interested in donating blood:
16 Years and Older, ALL students must have parent/guardian permission/consent form signed before the day of the blood drive
Student Athletes CANNOT donate blood
There is a height and weight requirement that can be checked with info at Ms. Berg's office
Ms. Berg has student blood donor consent forms and donor info.
Please spread the word, we want to help fill the blood banks before the holiday season.
Give the Gift of Life. 1 donation can save 3 lives.
We appreciate your support.
