Dr. Anslow's biology students had a fantastic time in the lab this week exploring liver enzymes!
They conducted experiments to understand reaction rates and the various factors that influence these vital biological catalysts.
So much learning happening here!
Check out these budding scientists at work!

GIVE BACK, GET OUT! 🌳 Conservation Biology students from Dr. Anslow's classes at FHS had an amazing field trip to Hawn State Park last week! We teamed up with the awesome Friends of Hawn to tackle some real-world conservation work: improving a backwoods campsite and removing a renegade trail.
But we weren't just sweating it out! We also got to explore the beautiful Pickle Creek, practice our species identification, and collect water samples for lab testing. 🔬 The verdict? Pickle Creek is PURE! 💧
Huge thanks to Hawn State Park and Friends of Hawn for the opportunity to practice our field biology skills and learn firsthand the importance of protecting our natural resources!
