We want to share an important update regarding snow days this school year. After reviewing recent guidance from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), our district will no longer use Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI) days when school is closed due to inclement weather.

What This Means for Families

• When a snow day is called, students will NOT be expected to complete assignments at home.

• No AMI packets or digital assignments will be required.

• School will simply be closed, and families can use the day for rest, family time, or catching up at home.
