The English Language Program at Farmington R-7 School District supports non-native English-speaking students needing additional language instruction. Our program provides:
Advanced English Proficiency: Teaching skills for speaking, listening, reading, and writing in academic English.
Academic Achievement: Helping ELLs meet and exceed academic standards.
Successful Acculturation: Supporting students and families in adapting to the community.
Parental Engagement: Encouraging parent involvement in their child's education.
Eligibility:
Eligibility is determined through the Home Language Survey, student and parent interviews, recommendations, previous school records, and the WAP-T proficiency test. Our goal is to support students' academic and social success.
