The Farmington R-7 School District welcomes those who choose to volunteer to help on our campuses throughout the school year. If you are interested in volunteering in one of the Farmington R-7 Schools, please review the information contained in the Volunteer Information Letter that details the procedure that must be followed to help ensure the safety and success of all children.
To register as a volunteer, you may contact your child’s school for a Volunteer Packet, or you may print and complete the Volunteer Packet and return it to the school office. Included in the Packet are the following documents:
— Volunteer Information Letter
— Child Abuse/Neglect Background Check Form
— Volunteer Signature Form
— M.U.S.I.C. Video Instructions
— Conduct Form
— Smarter Adults Video Review
— Universal Precautions Summary
— School Volunteer Policy
If you are planning to attend field trips/events as a volunteer with your child’s class, it is important to note that a background check must be conducted and the prospective volunteer cleared before the trip/event occurs. These checks frequently take several days or more to complete. Please submit all paperwork to your child’s school 10-14 days in advance.
Please contact your school office or Danielle Owens at (573) 701-1300 x2004 if you would like to schedule an appointment to view the M.U.S.I.C. Video or if you have questions about becoming a Farmington R-7 Volunteer.
